Two bands are coming to Washington to perform at the airport next weekend. Michelle Redlinger, director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce explains during next week’s Summer Classic the Saturday evening, called Tribute Night, will have the visiting musical groups perform. The first group is called New Odyssey and is a duo who plays 30 different instruments. The second band to take the stage in the airport’s hangar is Breakfast Club, which will play mostly 80’s music with some hits from the 90’s and today.

The Summer Classic is a spin off of last year’s 175th celebration. During last year’s event the concerts were moved to the airport in fear of bad weather, and Redlinger shares it worked out very well and is done with a great partnership with the airport commission.
