Following the weekend’s rain area river levels rose. The English River at Kalona rose 3.4 feet from Sunday at 6 a.m. to today at 6 a.m. The river is at 11 feet, three feet below flood stage. The Iowa River also rose at Wapello and Oakville, causing flood warnings. At Wapello the river is slightly above flood stage at 20.13 feet, while flood stage is 20 feet.
