Still searching for their first win of the season the Iowa Mennonite School sofball team hosted the Wapello Arrows last night. Wapello came away with the victory 13-1.

Heading to the second inning the Arrows offense scored five runs for a 5-0 advantage. In the third inning both teams scored a run to make the score 6-1. After a scoreless fourth inning, the Arrows caught fire with seven runs in the fifth to win the game, 13-1.

Wapello’s senior pitcher Anna Klenk received her seventh win giving up just one hit in the win.

IMS falls to 0-8 on the season and will host the Louisa Muscatine Falcons (6-6) on Tuesday.
