With 69 percent of voters in favor of it, the bond vote for the Washington Community School District passed tonight. The $2.3 million in general obligation bonds will be used to add a preschool wing to Stewart Elementary School and demolish the current Stewart West satellite building. The project will also include a new drop off location. Of the 1040 voters, 721 vote in favor of the measure.
