A project conducted every five years called a Community Health Needs Assessment is underway this summer in Washington County. The residents of Washington County are asked to complete a survey about health needs in their communities. Danielle Pettit-Majewski, director of Washington County Public Health, explains the survey asks a variety of questions from access to transportation to get to doctors appointments to access to healthy food.

The anonymous survey takes five to 10 minutes to complete. The survey responses will then be analyzed by a group comprised of representatives from across the county in various departments and industries to establish health priorities for Washington County.
