Tonight the community is invited to the Washington Municipal Airport for Tribute Night. The evening’s concerts are part of Washington’s four-day Summer Classic. Michelle Redlinger, director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce explains two groups are coming to Iowa to perform. The first group, New Odyssey, is a duo who plays 30 different instruments. The Breakfast Club is the name of the second band to take the stage in the airport’s hangar and they play mostly 80’s music with some hits from the 90’s and today.

Last year, during Washington’s 175th Celebration, the concerts were moved from downtown Washington to the airport due to rain and Redlinger shares it worked out very well and is done with a great partnership with the airport commission.
