The Iowa Mennonite School baseball and softball teams will host a Southeast Iowa Super Conference opponent in the Highland Huskies tonight.

The IMS baseball team (0-2) lost their home opener to Winfield-Mt. Union, 4-1 and losing to Pekin on Tuesday in three innings, 14-2. Highland comes in with a 2-3 record coming off of a loss to Lone Tree on Tuesday, 1-0.

The IMS softball team (0-2) is still looking for their first win coming off a loss on Tuesday to Pekin 14-2 that finished in three innings. Highland is currently 3-1 in the season coming off of a 10-0 win at Lone Tree on Tuesday. Highland’s Katie Springer pitched six innings against the Lions allowing just four hits and striking out four batters.
