Southeast Iowa residents will have plenty of options when it comes to the fireworks display they attend this weekend. Day long celebrations are planned in Wellman, Wayland, Morning Sun, Mount Pleasant and Sigourney that lead up to fireworks at dusk Saturday night. Fireworks will also be shot off at Fairfield’s Waterworks Park and the Washington County Fairgrounds on the 4th. Shiloh, located south of Kalona, is hosting its annual display Friday night.
