There may be someone impersonating a law enforcement official in Henry County. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report from a female who was pulled over near the Big Creek bridge on Old Highway 34 Monday afternoon.

She reported being pulled over by a black and white vehicle, similar to a Crown Victoria, with the word “Police” on the front doors. It also has blue and red flashing lights on the dash and spotlight on the driver’s side. The impersonator, described as a thin, roughly 6’4” white male, returned to his vehicle after questioning the driver about expired registration, which in fact was not expired. The female was then followed by the suspect to the edge of Mount Pleasant.

Anyone who sees a vehicle matching the description is encouraged to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
