Last summer an artist began a two-story tall mural on the Washington Public Library and Erin Rappleye has returned to continue her work. Debbie Stanton, director of the library, shared the work has resumed and is being done in part due to the donation of a lift for the artist to use by Greiner Buildings. The wall on the alley-side of the library is being transformed into a public art piece.

Rappleye is a Master of Fine Arts candidate at the University of Iowa and based the original piece on the Horsehead Nebula.
