Reports of avian influenza are on the decline.
According to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, there were no new probable cases of the disease in Iowa this week. The last positive flock was detected on June 16th. Over 31,000,000 poultry in Iowa have been affected by the highly pathogenic avian influenza so far.
