English River at Kalona

River levels across the KCII listening area have risen. The English River at Kalona has a flood warning in effect until Thursday. As of 6 a.m. Tuesday, the river rose nearly four feet since Monday morning. The English River is at 14.86 feet while flood stage is 14 feet.

A flood warning has also been issued for the North Skunk River at Sigourney, which rose over 21 feet since Monday morning.

The Iowa River near Lone Tree rose nearly three feet during the same time period and is less than a foot below flood stage, as is the Iowa River at Columbus Junction. The Iowa River is also above flood stage at Wapello.
