Join KCII’s Big Red Radio downtown today for the first ever Washington Summer Classic. The event is organized by the Washington Chamber of Commerce. Michelle Redlinger, director of the chamber, shares the four-day festival starts today with Ag Day with the Farmers Market and a tractor parade; Friday is Family Heritage Day; Saturday is Ridiculous Day which will then transition into Tribute Night with concerts at the airport; and Friday is American Classic with church in Central Park followed by Latino Night. Today also includes a giveaway of 100 seedlings and live music on the band stand.
