Zoo animals will make their annual trip to the Kalona Library tomorrow. The Blank Park Zoo is holding two shows in the morning as part of the library’s summer reading program. Youth services librarian Erin Silva says due to the large turnout they see each year, two presentations are being held.

She says they’re asking that kindergartners and kids who haven’t started school come at 10:30 a.m., and older kids come for the show at 11:30 a.m. She says they don’t know what animals the zoo is going to bring, but critters such as alligators have shown up in the past.
