An improved season from the WACO Warrior baseball team (3-21 overall) gardener recognition from the coaches of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North. Sophomore Gabe Black and freshman B.J. Rodgers both received second team all-conference selections.

Black, who was selected as a second team catcher, led the Warriors in batting average (.288), slugging percentage (.385), on base percentage (.486), walks forces (13), doubles (3), and recorded the team’s lone triple.

Rodgers, who was chosen as a second team all-conference utility player, led WACO in total hits (19), stolen bases (16), innings pitched (39), and lowest earned run average (9.15).

Junior Justyn Chalupa and eighth grader Matt Leichty are all-conference honorable mention selections.

The WACO Warriors ended the 2015 season 3-21 overall, finishing ninth in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference standings with a 2-16 mark. The Warriors finished the 2014 season with an 0-15 record.
