The 19th Annual Brinton Film Festival is being held this weekend. Films Washington County couple Frank and Indiana Brinton toured the country with during the late 1800s and early 1900s will be screened in a city they were played in over 100 years ago. The venue will again be the Ainsworth Opera House, which is in its centennial year.

The films from the Brinton Collection, believed to be the most significant in the world, will be narrated by Michael Zahs, the man who uncovered the collection in a local basement.

The Brinton Film Festival is being held Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 7 p.m. The freewill donation for admission will go to support the Ainsworth Opera House.
