The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is continuing an investigation stemming from a July 20th traffic stop that involved a stolen vehicle. According to the sheriff’s office, a deputy pulled over a truck at around 2:20 a.m. near the intersection of Main Street and Oak Street in New London, and during the course of the traffic stop, the driver got out and fled on foot. After it was determined that the truck was stolen, it was returned to the owner. Henry County Sheriff Rich McNamee says thankfully there haven’t been other reports of stolen vehicles.
