Months of preparation and hard work are coming to an end this week for area FFA and 4-H students at the Washington County Fair. Cattle, swine, sheep, and rabbits are among the livestock that will be judged. Tomorrow the rabbit show will be held.

KCII News spoke with 4-Her Lindsey Palmer about getting rabbits ready for the fair it is about getting their fur in the proper condition, clipping their toenails and keeping them cool during the fair week. KCII’s Big Red Radio will be at the fair grounds all week, providing live coverage and results. For the full interview with Palmer listen to today’s Washington Page.

The rabbit show will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
