Washington received 6.89 inches of rain in the month of June. According to the National Weather Service, 4.7 inches of precipitation is normal. While Washington’s precipitation was above normal during the month of June, the total precipitation so far this year is slightly below normal. So far, 17.34 inches of precipitation has been observed, slightly below the normal 17.46 inches.

In June, the average temperature was two-tenths of a degree below normal at 70.3 degrees. So far this year the average temperature has been 42.7 degrees, below the normal 44.4 degrees.
