Mid-Prairie was well represented on the River Valley Conference all-conference baseball team.

Three players made the all-conference team in the south division. The selections were led by senior shortstop Jackson Yoder, who hit .388 on the season, with a .500 slugging average. Also on the all-conference team was sophomore pitcher Derek Rich, who went 3-0 on the year in nine starts. His earned run average was just 2.23 in 44 innings pitched. in addition, Rich also led the team in batting with a .393 average and led the team in RBIs with 24.

The third Golden Hawk to make the all-conference team is junior utility player Adam Schrock. Schrock had a 5-1 record in six starts as a pitcher while leading the team with a 2.08 ERA. The junior also hit for a .239 average with 15 RBI’s.

Representing Mid-Prairie on the honorable mention list is freshman Karson Gingerich, who hit for a .303 average.

Coach Andy Greiner is excited about next season, as he will return every player on the team, with the exception of Yoder. The Golden Hawks finished the season with a 13-14 overall record.
