River Valley Conference, South Division softball champ Mid-Prairie has placed eight players on the all-conference team, including three on the Elite team.

Senior Lexi Duwa, along with juniors Amber Krall and Emma Troyer were listed on the Elite team. Amber Krall, who played in the infield, finished the season tied for first in the state in RBI’s with 71 on the season, while she also slugged 12 home runs and batted .455. Duwa, who played in the Golden Hawk outfield, batted .486 on the season. Meanwhile, Troyer, a pitcher, was a workhorse for Mid-Prairie as the southpaw logged 105 innings pitched this season, finishing with 12-6 record and a 3.25 ERA.

Making the South Division all-conference team were junior infielder Alex Rath, senior infielder Chelsea Krall, junior catcher Ali Naylor and senior pitcher Taylor Kurtz.

Rath led the team in runs scored with 50, she also batted .540, and had 20 stolen bases as the teams lead off hitter. Chelsea Krall, who missed the last few games of the season, with the re-occurrence of a foot injury, hit .301 on the season. Naylor hit .287 this season, with a .950 fielding percentage. Kurtz missed several games during the season due to injury, she finished 8-6 on the year, with a 2.60 ERA. Kurtz also hit for a .292 batting average.

Senior outfielder Ashley Sojka was named to the honorable mention list. Sojka went through the entire season without making a single error in the field.

The Golden Hawks finished the season with a 22-13 overall record.
