Washington’s educators gathered Wednesday morning at Washington High School for the annual educators breakfast presented by the Washington Chamber of Commerce. Michelle Redlinger, director of the chamber, thanked the educators for their role in the community.

Superintendent Jeff Dicks is entering his 21st year in education and shared his excitement for the school year, as the summer gives everyone a chance to rejuvenate. He also said he’d like to see Washington become a hub for education with the partnerships throughout the district, including the Kirkwood Community Regional Center, something to promote. He added thanks to the businesses who made the breakfast possible.

About 330 members of school staff were in attendance.
