Funeral services for 93 year old Gwendolyn Luers of North English, formerly of Keota, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday (8/7) at the Bethel United Methodist Church in rural Sigourney. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday (8/6) at the Powel Funeral Home in Keota with family receiving friends from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Bethel United Methodist Church, Bethel Cemetery or Keokuk County Hospice. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Gwendolyn and her family.
