Father’s Day is this weekend, and the high ropes course at Langwood Education Center is opening just in time to celebrate. The course takes participants 30 feet off the ground to traverse the Burma Bridge, Log, Multi-Vine and Two-Line Bridge. Safety is ensured through the use of a belay system with ropes, harnesses, and specialized hardware.  Registration was due by June 17. Participants must be 8 years or older and climbers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  The trails and pond will also be open for fishing, hiking, canoeing and more.  The high ropes course at Langwood Education Center is opening Sunday from 1 to 4pm.  For more information or to pre-register, contact Louisa County Conservation.
