Eli Gingerich, of the Iowa Mennonite School, didnt get a lot of court time, but delivered when given the opportunity in this summer’s Prime Time Basketball League.

Gingerich played on a team with some of the best college basketball players from across the state. He did manage to get eight minutes of playing time for the Westport Touchless Autowash/Beat The Bookstore team, which finished 4-4 on the season.

Gingerich showed off his touch from the three-point arc, hitting on four of nine shots for 44 percent. He will be back on the court for his senior year for IMS this season.

The Prime Time Basketball League featured Division I players from the University of Iowa, and University of Northern Iowa, along with several junior college players.
