For the Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team, action gets underway on Thursday as they travel to Fairfield for a quad with Albia, Eddyville-Blakesburg and the host school.

Last year IMS picked up one win at the quad, topping Albia, however Eddyville-Blakesburg dominated play, winning all three of their matches, on the way to a 35-3 record on the season. Eddyville made it to the state tournament last year before getting knocked out of the tournament by Unity Christian.

Following Thursday’s quad, the IMS girls will host Louisa-Muscatine, one of the teams they beat last year. IMS finished the season last year at 8-26.
