After a sub-par start to the year, the Keota Eagles volleyball team (0-2 overall) is still searching for their first win of the season. Keota continues their early season schedule in Wilton, battling the Beavers (0-0 record) of the River Valley South Conference.

The Eagles lost a pair of matches on Monday in the annual Keota volleyball tournament. Keota fell in straight sets to the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks, 4-25, 10-25, and in three sets to the Highland Huskies, 12-25, 25-23, 9-15.

The Eagles are adjusting to the graduation of four all-conference performers, including first team selections Madison Sheetz and Callie Greiner, second team selection Brooke Sieren, and honorable mention Maggie Baker.

First set of tonight’s non-conference volleyball match is set for 6:30 p.m. at Wilton High School.
