Mid-Prairie volleyball coach Cindy Miller is pleased with the improvements made by her teams since taking over the program three years ago.

When Miller began at Mid-Prairie back in 2012 the program was coming off a 1-30 season. In her first year as coach the team improved to 6-24, by last season the Golden Hawks had improved to 14-17. Miller is excited about the upcoming season and is looking for the team to get over the .500 mark.

The Mid-Prairie coach says she’ll have great leadership this season from third year starter, senior Emily Cayton, plus a big boost in the return of center Clarice Murphy, a junior.

Mid-Prairie opens the season in the Keota Tournament on August 24th, before hosting Wilton on September 3rd.
