Two people were arrested following a traffic stop in Washington Monday afternoon. At about 4:41 p.m. a vehicle was stopped near Industrial Park Drive and North 12th Avenue. Heather Irene Brown, 36-years-old of Iowa City, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Also, 35-year-old Michael Jacob Rice of Washington was arrested for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
