Access to mental health care, nutrition and food systems, and physical activity throughout life have been declared priorities in Washington County. Following the Community Health Needs Assessment conducted this summer, the three priorities were selected by community members to be the focus over the next five years. The assessment was led by the Washington County Public Health Department. Administrator for the department, Danielle Pettit-Majewski adds volunteers interested in working on one of the priorities are asked to contact public health to learn more at 653-7758.
