Mid-Prairie graduate Jared Draper is continuing his athletic career at the collegiate level as a member of the Indian Hills Cross Country team.

The Golden Hawk State alum and state qualifier is a freshman on this year’s Warrior Cross Country Team. In their most recent action Indian Hills competed at the 54th Les Duke Invitational on the campus of Grinnell College Saturday, September 12th.

The Warriors finished sixth in the 12 team field with their overall score of 175 points. Wartburg took the team title with 24 points. The Warriors were led on the day by Antoine Bardou who completed the run in 26:46, good for 15th place individually. Other finishers for Indian Hills included Derek Wilson 17th, Draper 31st in 28:00, Jono Hooper 51st, Jacob Wilson 61st, Dillan Sorrells 68th and Cody McNeal 70th. Draper and the Warriors will next be in action October 3rd at the Dan Huston Invitational on the campus of Wartburg College in Waverly.
