The Mid-Prairie volleyball team got back to River Valley Conference play on Thursday night when they hosted Tipton.The Tigers won the match over the Hawks three games to one by scores of 20-25, 17-25, 25-23, and 22-25. On the night Mid-Prairie was led by Ali Butters with nine kills, Emily Cayton and Jaedynn Evans each had seven. Sami Miller dished out 31 assists. Emily Cayton had 18 digs to lead the Hawks while Jaedynn Evans added 14 and Amanda Miller added 13 to the Mid-Prairie effort. With the loss the Golden Hawks are now 6-5 overall on the year and own a 1-1 mark in conference play as they get ready for top 10 ranked West Liberty at Tim Grady Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
