After a long layoff in the early season schedule, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball squad will again be on the floor Thursday when they host Wilton. The match serves as both the home opener and River Valley Conference opener for the Golden Hawks. Mid-Prairie is out to a hot start on the early season, going 3-0 and winning the Keota tournament their last time out August 24th. Statistically this year the Golden Hawks are led by senior Emily Cayton with 20 kills, Clarice Murphy has 29 assists and Amanda Miller has 17 digs through three matches.

Last year the Golden Hawks were 4-10 in conference play, but defeated Wilton in their only matchup of the season in a three set sweep 25-13, 25-14 and 25-16 in Wilton. The Golden Hawks and Beavers will be on the floor at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman Thursday at 7:15PM.
