The Mid-Prairie volleyball team hosted the number two ranked West Liberty Comets Tuesday night at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.

Though the Golden Hawks didn’t come away with a win, they gave West Liberty all they wanted in a three game sweep. The Comets took the match by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-22. The Golden Hawks were led on the night by Jaedynn Evans with eight kills. Sami Miller had 21 assists while Amanda Miller had 15 digs, Jaedynn Evans had 13 and Emily Cayton finished with 10. With the loss Mid-Prairie is now 6-6 overall and 1-2 in the River Valley Conference. The Hawks will next be in action tonight when they travel to Camanche.
