The Highland volleyball team went 3-1 at its own tournament Saturday. The Huskies opened up play with a two games to one win over Iowa Mennonite School by scores of 22-25, 25-17 and 15-11.

The Huskies then swept through the Columbus Wildcats 21-13 and 21-13. Highland then beat Louisa-Muscatine in straight sets 21-16 and 21-9. The Huskies ended the day with their lone loss as IMS got some revenge, beating Highland in three games 11-21, 21-19 and 9-15.

Statistically, the Huskies were led by Sydney Black with 21 kills, Briana Davis had 24 assists and Kelsey Hora ended with seven digs. After the weekend Highland’s record is now 9-4 for the year. The Huskies will be in action Thursday when they travel to Iowa Mennonite.
