The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team had a tough week in conference play, falling to both Winfield-Mt. Union and Pekin.

. In the matchup with the Wolves on Tuesday, WMU got the win by scores of 26-24, 25-19 and 25-20. Game one was the tightest of the three with the two teams staying tied until very late when it was decided by a net violation and a missed serve. In the win, the Wolves were led by Pearl Krieger-Coble with 11 kills, Caitlin Jamison had 26 assists and defensively the Wolves got 13 digs from Sophie Kongable, 12 from Jamison and 10 from Cassidy Lennie. IMS was led by Natalie Graber with 17 kills, Alijah Beatty had 17 assists and Jess Bender finished with 17 digs.

In action Thursday Iowa Mennonite fell in straight sets to Pekin. Following action this week Iowa Mennonite’s volleyball record now stands at 5-6 on the year.
