A hopeful for the Republican presidential nomination visited with voters in Washington Monday. Bobby Jindal, governor of Louisiana, stopped at the Washington Pizza Ranch yesterday. He explained his upbringing, the child of immigrants working for the American dream.

He spoke of immigration with following the vetting process and building a wall at the Mexico border, cutting government spending and his experience in government. Jindal also said if elected he would push to enact term limits for members of Congress.

Jindal advised those in the room that when looking at the large pool of candidates it takes more than a strong speaker to act in Washington, D.C., and to look at leadership experience. He called Republican front-runner Donald Trump not a Republican but a narcissist.

According to Real Clear Politics, at this time Jindal has a fourth of a percent in the polls.
