Temperatures this week are expected to rise with highs in the upper-80’s, with rising temperatures take proper care of pets. When it is 80 degrees outside, the temperature inside a car can climb to 99 degrees in as few as 10 minutes. Amber Talbot, director of PAWS and More animal shelter in Washington, encourages leaving pets at home or going for a car ride together with the air conditioning on.

In addition, make sure that pets outside have access to shade and plenty of water.
