Iowa Mennonite School graduate and former Southeast Iowa Superconference standout Casey Perez led the Hesston College volleyball team to a 2-0 record in their most recent week of competition.

The Larks took out Allen Community College of Iola on Wednesday, September 9th, winning in straight sets 25-13, 25-23 and 25-17. In the match against Allen, Perez led the Lark effort with 33 assists. The victory over Allen was the third in a row for Hesston and marked the Larks fifth win in their last six contests, running their overall record to 7-3.

Friday night Hesston made it four wins in a row by sweeping Clarendon College in three straight sets 25-12, 25-5 and 25-19. Perez again had a big night dishing out 12 assists in the victory. The recent streak has pushed the Larks record to 8-3 overall. Hesston College will next be in action against nationally-ranked Cowley College on Monday, September 14th.
