A sewer easement agreement with the City of Washington was tabled at Tuesday’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting. The City advised the supervisors of the upcoming sewer separation project that includes the Washington County Courthouse and costs approximately $440,000. In a letter to the supervisors it states the project is planned with no direct costs to adjacent property owners but the City will need to secure easements from several properties to allow the project to proceed. City Administrator Brent Hinson explained work is likely to begin in the spring, but the contract allows for the project to start in September.
