The WACO Warrior volleyball team (2-2) welcomes the Highland Huskies (5-3) to Bob Hilmer Court tonight for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference North clash.

WACO has already played against three conference opponents during their season opening tournament last Monday at home. The Warriors faced SEISC members Columbus, Van Buren, and Wapello during last Monday’s WACO Volleyball tournament, earning victories against the Wildcats (21-12; 21-16) and Warriors (21-15, 23-21).

The Huskies enter tonight’s competition having already facing a pair of league opponents in regional tournaments. Highland has squared off against Lone Tree and Winfield-Mount Union, defeating the Wolves in three sets (25-23, 23-25, 15-9) over the weekend at the West Branch tournament.

The Warriors and Huskies met on the volleyball court twice last season. Highland won the regular season matchup in straight sets (25-15, 25-18, 25-21) and edged WACO in the SEISC tournament in straight sets (21-18, 21-8).

First serve of tonight’s varsity clash is set for 7:30 p.m. at Bob Hilmer Court in Wayland.
