Things are taking shape and color is being added to the two-story tall mural on the Washington Public Library. Artist Erin Rappleye, from the University of Iowa, began the piece last summer. Debbie Stanton, director of the library explains the artwork contains iconic children literary references and shows the library as a story teller. Stanton adds they plan on having a big unveiling when the mural is completely finished.
