The Washington Farmers Market wrapped up for the season this week. Bob Shepherd, market master, reflects on Thursday’s final market, saying it was gorgeous with the leaves changing color and dropping for fall. Potatoes, squash, baked goods, soaps and jewelry were all available for purchase from a variety of vendors.

The farmers market is held each Thursday in Washington’s Central Park May through October.
