The Green Acres 4-H Club, which was awarded a grant over the summer, is ready to put that money to work. The club was awarded a $420 grant by DuPont Pioneer Seeds and the Iowa 4-H Foundation.

Club members are using the money to repaint the old Schoolhouse/Open Class Exhibit building on the Washington County fairgrounds. This Saturday they will be scraping and priming the inside of the building to get things started, then will return in two weeks to do the painting.

Club members would like to invite members of other Washington County 4-H clubs and community members to help out. Work will get underway Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
