A new spooky attraction is coming to Washington just in time for Halloween. A haunted trail will take those brave enough to try it on part of the Kewash Trail and through Hayes Timber. Organizers Chris Hanson, Vern Miller and Terry Philips explained the haunted trail to the Washington City Council this week and it was approved unanimously. The 1.8 mile trail will be open for scary tours with ghouls, zombies and others along the way on the evenings of October 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st. The path will be designated and each group will be given a flashlight. Proceeds from it will go to help fund the Washington High School band trip and Mills Seed Building work.
