The Washington Music Boosters are looking to scare community members this Halloween while raising money on their Haunted Walk. Chris Hanson, an organizer of the event, explained the event will have participants walk along a designated path through Hayes Timber and on the Kewash Trail in groups of six. Hanson says there will be scary characters from classic horror films along the way.

The funds raised will go toward the high school band trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in the spring of 2017.

The walk is being held this Friday and Saturday, the 23rd and 24th, as well as October 30th and 31st from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Parking is on West 5th, across from the mini bus barn. For more information listne to today’s Washington Page.
