Today is state competition day for high school marching bands in the southern half of the state. The competition is being held in Pella throughout the day today. All high school marching bands in southern Iowa will be competing.

Bands will be scored on marching and maneuvering, general effect and execution. Also, music execution and general effect, percussion and color guard.

We’ll have results for both Washington and Mid-Prairie on KCII News on Monday morning.
