The Highland Huskies flexed their muscles Tuesday night in Southeast Iowa Super Conference volleyball play, sweeping through Columbus on the road.

The Huskies won the match by scores of 25-11, 25-18, and 25-10. Briana Davis led the way for the Huskies with 12 kills, Jenna Dresselhaus dished out 13 assists and the Highland defense went to work led by Kelsey Hora with 24 digs, Dresselhaus with 17, Brylee Carolan with 12 and Sydney Black with 11.

The Wildcats were led by Shania Boyd with five kills. Kortney Orr handed out 10 assists and Boyd also had 13 digs. With the win Highland now stands at 18-10 on the year, 4-3 in the SEISC while Columbus falls to 6-20 overall 1-6 in league play. The Huskies will next be in action Thursday night when they host conference leader Mediapolis while Columbus travels to IMS on Thursday.
