The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team is back in action tonight, taking on the No. 5 ranked Springville Orioles in the quarterfinals of class 1A regional volleyball play.

. IMS advanced to the quarterfinals last Tuesday, taking out the Keota Eagles in straight sets 25-16, 25-16 and 25-13. IMS was led in the match by Natalie Graber with 15 kills, Alijah Beatty had 28 assists and Suzanna Yoder finished with 12 digs. IMS is 13-18 on the season. For the year Iowa Mennonite is led by Natalie Graber with 175 kills, eighth in the Southeast Iowa Superconference, Alijah Beatty with 386 assists, fifth best in conference play and Graber paces IMS with 172 digs.

Tonight IMS will face off with top five ranked Springville. The Orioles have been a fixture in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union poll all season. They began the year ranked eighth in the state and have never left the top 15. Springville is 28-7 overall for the year, with a 6-0 mark in conference play, standing as undefeated champions of the Tri-Rivers Conference. Last time Springville was on the floor was Saturday, October 17th when they swept Bellevue Marquette Catholic, North Linn and Calamus-Wheatland on the same day to claim the Tri-Rivers Conference Tournament Championship. For the year the Orioles are led by Megan Wagaman with 298 kills, 10th in the state in class 1A and second in the Tri-Rivers conference. Olivia Dlouhy paces Springville with 370 assists, third most in the Tri-Rivers. Wagaman also leads the team with 246 digs, second best in conference play.
