The Mid-Prairie School Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed new multi-purpose building project. The public hearing is set for tonight beginning at 8 p.m. in the high school library.

The $400,000 building is being built with a combination of public and private funding. The school received a $200,000 grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, the Mid-Prairie schools contributed $75,000, with the remainder coming from a private committee group.

Anyone who would like to comment, or learn more about the project, is urged to attend tonight’s public hearing.
